Players gain fresh combat options while the franchise broadens its crossover appeal. Gematsu reported the visual rollout, while IGN highlighted the link to Tekken 8’s Reina as a future December DLC. TwistedVoxel noted the Reina tease, and Inven Global confirmed a Tekken 8 collaboration.

Noisy Pixel added that Mikey and Draken will join the game on October 22, reinforcing a multi‑franchise strategy. These outlets collectively signal strong publisher focus on crossover content. The coordinated announcements underline a marketing push ahead of the game’s holiday season.

This layered rollout complicates the timeline for players planning roster upgrades, as future collaborations may shift focus toward broader brand integration rather than standalone character balance.
