Following recently surfaced claims on October 1, gaming outlet MinnMax removed YouTuber and video game essayist Jacob Geller from its programming. Kotaku initially established the removal in connection to an allegation of past sexual misconduct that had recently come to light. Subsequent reporting from Hindustan Times examined the specific nature of the allegations as the podcast took the decisive step to part ways with the host.
Discrepancies appear in how the underlying accusations are framed across outlets. Kotaku frames the situation as an allegation of past sexual misconduct, whereas TheGamer reports Geller has been accused of sexual abuse, and Aftermath documents sexual assault allegations.
