A historic passing streak was extended in the NFL's Week 4 matchups, keeping the Buffalo Bills' quarterback on pace for record‑setting numbers. CBS Sports credited the continuation to the quarterback's sustained high‑output performances, while also noting that the Carolina Panthers chose to bench starter Cam Ward in the same week.
The benching marks a notable shift in the Panthers' lineup. Bleacher Report, Yahoo Sports and NFL.com concentrated on overall game predictions and score forecasts, offering little detail on the strategic reasoning behind the Panthers' decision.
Coverage does not yet explain how the benching will affect the team's defensive scheme or Ward’s future role. Observers will watch upcoming weeks for any announced roster adjustments or performance impacts.
