Pizza for Gears of War: E‑Day, featuring a limited‑time “Emergence Pie” and a branded Lancer‑shaped pizza cutter. The announcement linked the food tie‑in to the game's upcoming E‑Day event, positioning the offering as a celebratory accessory for players. This release was the first public confirmation of the collaboration, appearing before any third‑party coverage. Pizza locations for a limited window.

Coverage diverged on the cutter’s availability. gnyouth.net and TechEBlog described the blade as a “prototype” that fans could test, implying a pre‑release sample. In contrast, Video Games Chronicle and TheGamer reported that the cutter had already sold out upon release, calling it an official product and noting that no additional units were listed for purchase. The differing language creates an unclear picture of whether the item was a limited test run or a fully released accessory. Inven Global added that the marketing pivot from “slicing pepperoni instead of locusts” underscored the brand crossover, and observed that the pizza’s limited run aligns with the event’s short‑term nature.

Social‑media chatter echoed these points, with fans expressing enthusiasm for the pie and disappointment over the cutter’s scarcity. The collaboration thus remains active through the food offering, while the physical merchandise is temporarily unavailable.
