Jimmy Kimmel’s NBC talk show is set to host Stephen Colbert as a guest, marking the comedian’s first televised late‑night appearance since he signed off the ‘Late Show’ in May. The move positions Kimmel to tap into Colbert’s audience while giving the former host a platform to re‑enter the ratings race. Entertainment Weekly highlighted that the segment will air next week, and the Daily Beast called the appearance a ‘triumphant return’ on Kimmel’s program.

The Telegraph India noted the significance of the first appearance since the May signing‑off. Analysts anticipate a ratings lift for both shows given the rarity of cross‑network guest spots. The guest slot is confirmed for next week’s episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, putting the two hosts in a shared spotlight.

Networks have not released viewer projections, but the scheduling suggests both parties expect mutual benefit as Colbert re‑establishes his presence and Kimmel adds a high‑profile name to his roster. Social media buzz already indicates heightened interest, with fans sharing clips from previous Colbert‑Kimmel interactions.
