Loki is suddenly listed as ‘missing’ – even dead – in Marvel Rivals ahead of the Season 10 launch, a stark contrast to his long‑standing presence in the game. The reason is simple: the character has been removed from several game modes before the Season 10 rollout, as reported by ixbt.games and games.gg. According to GosuGamers, Season 10 introduces only one new hero, Duelist Gorr, while Scarlet Witch receives a rework and a series of nerfs.

Insider Gaming notes that the upcoming Season 10.5 will not bring any additional heroes. The same source details specific nerfs to existing characters, signaling a broader balance overhaul. Forbes adds that the listing now reads ‘Missing (Update: He’s dead)’, underscoring the finality of the change.

While Loki’s exit is clear, the focus on Gorr, Scarlet Witch’s revamp, and the pause on new heroes suggests the developers are prioritising balance tweaks. Players will likely monitor patch notes for any resurrection event or narrative hint regarding Loki’s status.
