The shocking incident saw Camilo Séptimo’s keyboardist Jonathan Meléndez, his pregnant wife, their three‑year‑old daughter and their nanny discovered dead inside an upscale penthouse in Mexico. The victims were found tied together and shot, one with a bullet to the back, turning a luxury residence into a scene of mass murder. The brutality contrasts sharply with the high‑end setting, highlighting a grisly shooting that has stunned the music community.

Coverage from Yahoo, Billboard, CNN and the New York Post identifies Meléndez as the band’s keyboardist and confirms the family’s composition. Inshorts reports the victims were bound before being gunned down, while 1049thewolf.com notes the crime occurred in a high‑end apartment and the Sun labels it a "sick massacre." All eight sources publish the same basic facts, reinforcing the grim picture of a coordinated shooting that left no survivor. Mexican authorities have moved quickly, arresting two suspects shortly after the killings, as reported by Межа. Новини України.
