Howard Stern has handed over one of his longtime SiriusXM channels to television host Andy Cohen. Beginning immediately, Stern’s show will air only once a week on SiriusXM, and each episode will also be streamed on HBO Max. Cohen is set to occupy the vacated slot, continuing the channel’s legacy under a new personality. The schedule cut is linked to a new video agreement that places Stern’s content on the streaming platform HBO Max. CBS19 reported the reduction to a weekly broadcast, while Insideradio and Newser noted the addition of the HBO Max component as part of the deal.

Both sources suggest the partnership is intended to broaden Stern’s audience beyond satellite radio. The deal was presented as a strategic shift for Stern’s brand. Some outlets portray the handover as a personal rivalry, with The Sun describing a feud between Stern and Cohen. The Daily Beast and Yahoo frames the move as Stern’s ‘middle finger’ to critics, emphasizing the dramatic tone. In contrast, People and Page Six focus on the pragmatic aspects, noting the prank‑style announcement and the operational handoff without delving into conflict.

The depth of the purported feud remains unverified. Details about the length of Cohen’s tenure on the SiriusXM slot and the exact terms of the HBO Max arrangement have not been disclosed. Future statements from the parties will determine whether the weekly schedule becomes permanent and how the channel’s audience will respond.
