Apple is preparing to launch the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. The new models are expected to introduce several new features, including a ceramic case for the Series 12, a redesigned Apple Health app with an AI coach, and improved fitness machine connectivity and activity tracking. The Apple Watch Series 12 is anticipated to bring back the ceramic case, a feature that was previously available in earlier models. The new case is rumored to come in new colors, although specific details have not been confirmed. The Series 12 is also expected to include three new features that will be revealed next week, according to 9to5Mac.

The Apple Watch Ultra 4, along with the Series 12, is set to be released next month. Apple is reportedly testing continuous heart rate tracking for future Apple Watches, a feature that could significantly enhance the device's health monitoring capabilities. Additionally, the Apple Watch is testing a health feature similar to one offered by Oura, which focuses on sleep and recovery tracking. The upcoming Apple Watch models are part of Apple's strategy to maintain its dominance in the wearables market. The company's wearables segment generated $7.9 billion in sales, underscoring the importance of these devices to Apple's overall business.

However, despite the excitement around the new features, some reports suggest that a major redesign of the Apple Watch is not expected this year. Instead, the focus appears to be on incremental improvements and new health features. Apple's emphasis on health and fitness tracking aligns with the growing demand for wearable devices that offer comprehensive health monitoring capabilities.
