Multiple Pixel apps are receiving updated icons featuring a gradient design aesthetic. According to 9to5Google, Android Authority, and PhoneArena, these changes span several core tools including the Pixel Recorder, Weather, and Thermometer applications.

The update to the Pixel Weather app coincides with a rename to 'Weather Brief,' while the Pixel Recorder is receiving its first logo redesign. These visual updates are currently arriving as part of broader system software refreshes for Pixel hardware.

While the Thermometer app is receiving this gradient icon design, coverage from 9to5Google indicates the application is simultaneously being phased out. Users can anticipate seeing these updated icons appear as software updates continue to propagate to Pixel devices.
