It was one of the big events of these 2023 heritage days in Toulouse. Saturday September 16 in the evening, a big free concert of the National Capitol Orchestra took place in the open air, on the eponymous square, in the heart of Toulouse.
A free concert on the sidelines of the 2023 Rugby World Cup
In view of this evening’s international agenda, the town hall had included this event as part of the hosting of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, five matches of which will be played in the Pink City.
Franco-Japanese friendship resonates in Toulouse!
Under the baton of the Estonian chef Kristina Poska, the prestigious Orchestra performed Antonín Dvorák’s famous New World Symphony.

For the occasion, he also invited two rising stars of the international violin: Toulouse Manon Galy and the Japanese Ayana Tsujias a sign of friendship to the Japanese community and its national team which took up residence in Toulouse during the competition.
6,000 spectators at the concert!
According to the Toulouse town hall, this operation experienced a great success since according to his count, some 6,000 spectators, music lovers, one day or always, flocked to the Place du Capitole on Saturday evening!
