Former British Prime Minister (PM) Tony Blair reportedly run for leading the transition government Gaza Post -port.

In the proposal, Blair will lead a body called the Gaza International Transition Authority (GITA). This authority will have a mandate to become the ‘Highest Political and Legal Authority’ in Gaza for five years.

According to reports Times of Israelthe plan is modeled based on the government which initially oversees the transition of Timor Leste and Kosovo towards the status of the country.

The proposal shows that Gita was originally placed in El-Aristh, Egypt, which is adjacent to the southern border of Gaza. Slowly, Gita will enter the Gaza region accompanied by an international forces supported by the United Nations.

Still based on the same plan, Palestinians will not be forced to leave the area.

If approved, Blair will lead a secretariat of up to 25 people and lead 7 members.

Even so, Blair is very hated by Palestinians. Blair is considered to have prevented their efforts to achieve state status.

Until now, there has been no exact agreement on whether Blair will run the Palestinian government or not.

Blair has become part of the late August meeting led by US President Donald Trump to discuss the Israeli war in Gaza and post -deputy plans in the region.
