Thierry Michel’s flooded archives or 35 years of Congo’s history thrown into the streets

Like their neighbors, the filmmaker Thierry Michel and his wife are stricken and still deprived of water and electricity. But if throughout their street, as elsewhere, traces of entire lives litter the sidewalks, among the Michel, it is a good part of the memory of the Congo that must be thrown away.
