The film will hit theaters on January 30, 2026. Produced by Shaji Natesan under the banners August Cinema, Cineholics and Bedtime Stories, Dinu Thomas Elan is scripting the film. The shooting of the movie was recently completed in different parts of Kochi, Vandiperiyar and Peerumedu. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the director of many notable Malayalam films like My Boss, Mummy and Me, Memories, Drishyam, Drishyam 2, Kooman, Neer, it is hinted that ‘Valatuvasthe Kullan’ is a crime investigation film. The title look of ‘Thief on the Right’ was first released with the tag line ‘Confession of a Wounded Soul’.
