Drawing procedure

  • Clubs will be seeded in Round 1 according to the club factor rankings established at the beginning of the season.
  • In the Champion Pass, the team is divided into two pots. Pot 1 (seed, 22 teams) and pot 2 (no seed, 20 teams).
  • Teams are drawn into two semi-final ties within each of the four team groups, and the team in pot 1 is designated as the “home” team in semi-finals 1 and 2, respectively (regardless of the host club). In the finals and third place playoffs, the team with the highest factor in each case is designated as the “home” team.
  • For two champion pass groups of three teams, the side with the highest coefficient will be seeded directly into the final. The remaining two teams will play single leg ties.
  • In the league pass, 16 teams are split into two pots of eight teams (pot 1, seed and pot 2, no seed).
  • The sides will be drawn into two semi-final ties within each of the four team groups, and the team in pot 1 will be designated as the home team for semi-finals 1 and 2, respectively.
  • Based on the UEFA Executive Committee’s decision valid at the time of the draw, the clubs of the Kosovo / Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo / Serbia and Ukraine / Belarus association pairs may not be drawn into the same group.
