The Sea Otter Europe Cycling Festival is postponed to the end of September

by

The fourth edition of the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show, which was to take place from May 29 to May 31, has been postponed due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19. The organization announced that it will be postponed until autumn and will be held on the weekend of September 25-27, 2020, in Girona and the Costa Brava.

The decision is made two months before the expected date of celebration in the circumstances of the spread of COVID-19 and due to the uncertainty that causes such a massive scenario. The 2019 edition closed with a balance of more than 60,000 visitors, 400 exhibiting brands and 6,100 cyclists in the different races, a volume of people that makes it difficult to manage with the maximum guarantees of health and safety. The organizers emphasize that “the virus’s involvement is so global that generating its displacement, while complicated, would be irresponsible.”
