The Ougarit duo in concert at the Reservoir

The media library Le Reservoir welcomes the Ougarit duo this friday september 23 at 6:45 p.m. The Ougarit duo, resolutely jazz and influenced by improvised music, takes us on a discovery of melodies composed more than 2,000 years ago in Greece, Rome and Mesopotamia. Cyrille Marche and Alain Angeli agree to a captivating musical journey taking inspiration from these forgotten music. Through improvisation, it is a dialogue using current instruments and modern arrangements. But those who talk about it best are the artists themselves: “We are looking for bridges, windows between these ancient worlds and ours. It is an exchange between our past and the present beyond the reconstructions of experimental archeology.”

Reservation on 04 67 26 07 68.
