Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump’s lawyer, spreads conspiracy theories about the US election in a bizarre appearance – and works up a sweat in the process that his hair dye runs down his face.
Rudy Giuliani was in a rage. The 76-year-old private attorney for the elected US President Donald Trump and other Trump attorneys appeared in front of the press in Washington to once again spread conspiracy theories on the US election. Foreign communists, including Hugo Chavez, who died in 2013, are said to have played a role. Giuliani accused the reporters present of “pathological hatred” of Donald Trump. He criticized the media for its “hysterical” reporting on the president and repeatedly accused a journalist of “lying”.
In the social networks there was ridicule and malice for the appearance, also because the heavily sweating Giuliani apparently ran hair dye on the side of the face. Photos of the 76-year-old with brown stripes on his cheeks quickly became a hit on online networks. A journalist for the conservative news channel Fox News – the TV channel was once Trump’s house and court broadcaster – spoke of a “colorful press conference” and then emphasized, “So much of what he said is simply not true.” Other TV -Stations had not even broadcast the bizarre appearance.
Giuliani and the other Trump lawyers are diving deeper and deeper into conspiracy theories in their attacks on the outcome of the lost presidential election. They owe evidence. Most recently, it set the Trump side a series of legal defeats. On Thursday alone, she lost in court proceedings in the states of Georgia, Pennsylvania and Arizona. In Georgia, Biden’s election victory is likely to be sealed there on Friday by the official confirmation of the results. So far, the Trump side has collected more than 30 slaps in court, with a small success.
Important witnesses do not want to appear in public
Trump’s longtime confidante Giuliani promised further lawsuits. He does not submit any new incriminating material. It was claimed that no evidence could be presented to journalists in view of the pending proceedings. In addition, important witnesses did not want to appear before the general public. That did not prevent Giuliani from saying, “We cannot allow these crooks to steal the election from the Americans. They voted Donald Trump. They did not vote Joe Biden.”
Giuliani claimed he could prove that Trump didn’t actually lose the important state of Pennsylvania, but won it by a margin of 300,000 votes, and Michigan with 50,000 votes. Among other things, ballot papers were scanned several times. Giuliani’s statement: “I think it is a logical conclusion that there was a joint plan that emanated directly from the Democratic Party and its candidate.” There was no evidence of that either. Giuliani was once a prosecutor himself and later mayor of New York.
“Massive influence of communist money”
Attorney Sydney Powell went on: “What we are really dealing with here is massive swaying of communist money over Venezuela, Cuba and presumably China to interfere in our election.” It also alleged that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who died in 2013, had backdoors built into the software used in the vote count. Allegedly it was possible because a vote cast for Biden was worth 1.25 votes. The software was only used when scanning ballot papers. The electoral authorities emphasize that there is a paper receipt for every vote cast.
Christopher Krebs, who was recently fired by Trump and who was a senior government official responsible for securing the elections, described the press conference on Twitter as “the most dangerous 1:45 hour TV in American history”. “And probably the craziest,” he added.
And Joe Biden called Trump’s blockade attitude “completely irresponsible”. His refusal to recognize the result of the November 3rd election is damaging the reputation of democracy. Regarding Trump’s efforts to undermine the election result, Biden said he would make the history books as America’s “most irresponsible president”.
