The chief financial officer of the Apple company announced on July 30 in a meeting that the release for sale of the new iPhone series in 2020 would be postponed for several weeks.
“Last year we started selling new iPhones at the end of September, this year we expect shipments to be available a few weeks later,” the Apple executive said in a meeting with investors on the 30th. July.
Yet Mr Maestri did not disclose the official cause for the postponement.
According to the media outlet, this is not the first time that Apple has postponed the sale of an iPhone due to production issues.
