Romain Bardet, who suffers from a concussion after his fall this Friday September 11, must abandon the Tour de France 2020 on the evening of the 13th stage. The French rider was fourth in the general classification before this Friday’s stage. Second in the Tour in 2016 and third in 2017, the leader of the AG2R La Mondiale team was the best French chance after the fall of Thibaut Pinot at the first stage in Nice. His retirement is the first of his career in the Tour de France in which he has participated every year since his first participation in 2013.
