Four days of diverse music, 12 stages, some unpublished, and more than a hundred performances make up the musical pillar of La Mercè, which this year has Rome as its guest city and will pay tribute to two artists who have already disappeared: Tete Montoliu, who died 25 years ago and was honored by a band of musicians who played with him as well as with guest artists (Grec, the 25th, at 8:30 p.m.), and Pau Riba, whose tribute awaits all his children, Sílvia Pérez Cruz and Joan Garriga, among others (Avenida Catedral, 23, at 10:00 p.m.).
