June 8 in Syktyvkar at the Academic Drama Theater. V. Savin hosted the main concert of the cultural and educational project “Remember. We are proud. Let’s save”, organized by the Finno-Ugric cultural center of Russia.

– Today’s concert is the musical result of our large-scale educational project. The Minister of National Policy of the Komi Republic Roman Noskov also made a welcoming speech, he expressed gratitude to the Finno-Ugric Cultural Center of Russia for the fact that, in addition to ethnocultural events, the Center created a project dedicated to preserving the memory of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, educating the young generation of patriotism and spiritual and moral values.

The concert started with a performance by the military orchestra of the military unit of the city of Syktyvkar under the direction of the Honorary Worker of Culture of the Komi Republic, Major Sergei Monastyrsky.

Igor Russkikh performed original songs about Russia, war, friendship. The audience especially liked the song about the Immortal Regiment. The artist admitted that one of his playful songs was included in the repertoire of Joseph Kobzon.
