The Christmas activities program begins on Avenida de la Constitución with a first concert by the Municipal Symphonic Band starting at 6.15 pm with Christmas and film themes. The direction is in charge of the titular director of the municipal band, Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Juan, and the songs are sung with the voice of Laura Gallego.

At around 7:00 p.m., the activation of the lighting is scheduled. Subsequently, the programming continues with a second part of the concert by the Symphonic Band, which is followed by the performance of the Nuestra Señora de Sol Music Band, which has the musical direction of Jorge Belda Mora and the solo singer Patricia Berbel for this concert. . The repertoire is related to Christmas themes and Disney movies.

At the same time, in the Polígono Sur, the South district organizes the traditional party with musical performances and chocolate around the illuminated tree that has been installed again in the Glorieta Párroco Gabriel Ramos Chávez. The activities begin at 6.30 pm and the lighting will occur as in the rest of the city at 7.00 pm.

Starting this Friday, the Christmas lights arrive, one more year, in all the districts and will have trees with specific designs for Avenida de la Constitución, Sierpes, Tetuán, Imagen, Campana, Laraña, Alfonso XII, El Salvador and Asunción. Trees located in different neighborhoods of the city are also illuminated. This year it has this Christmas decoration, in addition to the Polígono Sur, Puerta de Jerez, Santa Justa, Avenida de Emilio Lemos, the access roundabout to Torreblanca -corner of Avenida Pero Mingo with Calle Alanís- and Plaza de Cuba (with twelve meter trees) and the Glorieta de los Prisos de los Merinales (seven meter high tree).

With the lighting already on, on Saturday 27th November, the Arquillo del Ayuntamiento once again takes center stage with a concert of Christmas carols choirs that will begin at 5.30 pm. The first of the groups to perform is ‘Zambomba flamenca Embrujo andaluz Aires de Copla’ from the San Jerónimo neighborhood. Later, at 6.15 pm, it is the turn of the Musical Association ‘Esencia de Triana’, from the Triana district. After their performance, the choirs ‘Parque Verde’ and ‘Estampa del Sur’, from the Este-Alcosa-Torreblanca district sing (7:00 pm and 7:45 pm, respectively). Finally, from the Macarena district the ‘Coro de Canarias’ arrives (8.30 pm).
