The Casablanca Stock Exchange opens in the green

Stock Exchange (Casablanca) – The Casablanca Stock Exchange started in the green on Thursday, the MASI gaining 0.74%, to 1,069,966 points (pts).

The MSI 20, an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.98%, to 860.23 pts, and the Casablanca ESG 10, a thematic index which calculates the performance of the prices of socially responsible companies, was awarded 0 .6%, at 804.19 pts.

Individually, Cosumar (+4.65% to 183.5 dirhams (DH)), BMCI (+4.59% to 454.95 DH), Fenie Brossette (+3.19% to 134.15 DH) , Attijariwafa Bank (+2.31% to 399 DH) and Sodep-Marsa Maroc (+0.48% to 211 DH) posted the highest increases.

On the other hand, Salafin (-5.16% at 550 DH) made the biggest drop; followed by Delta Holding (-4.21% to 22.5 DH), Afma (-1.9% to 1,290 DH), Mutandis Sca (-1.65% to 208.5 DH) and TotalEnergies Marketing Morocco (-1. 53% at MAD 1,220).

The day before the close, the MASI had moved up 0.38% to 10,621.27 pts.
