The branch of “Rosseti Center” – “Tambovenergo” connected the object of the national project “Education” to the networks

Specialists of the branch of PJSC Rosseti Center – Tambovenergo completed the construction of energy infrastructure and connection to the company’s networks of a new secondary school in the river. Umet village, Umetsky district, Tambov region. The main source of its power supply was the substation 110/35/10 kV “Umetskaya”, the backup – substation 35/10 “Vostochnaya”. The amount of power supplied to the new facility is 355 kilowatts.

To supply the school with electricity, the branch, under the technological connection agreement, carried out a number of technical measures, including the construction of 10 kV overhead lines with a total length of 0.6 km, the installation of two single-transformer 10/0.4 kV kiosk-type substations with a capacity of 400 kVA each.

Today, more than 500 children study at Umet. Their former school did not fully meet modern requirements for the educational process. Therefore, it was decided to build a new building of the basic school with an agro-engineering focus for 250 students with additional education for 100 students. On the territory of the institution there is a stadium with tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, a bike path and a car park. The grand opening of the new school took place on Knowledge Day – September 1.

— Reliable power supply of educational institutions always remains a constant priority for us in our work. All activities under the contract for technological connection of the new Umetskaya school were carried out by our specialists promptly and efficiently. This was the contribution of Tambovenergo to the implementation of the national project Education, implemented in the region, – said Deputy General Director – Director of the branch of PJSC Rosseti Center – Tambovenergo Andrey Golov.
