After being formalized in China, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro was also entitled to an international launch with a first step in India. In terms of price, the device seems to be positioned opposite the OnePlus North.
In China, it’s been a while since Oppo’s Reno 4 series was formalized. However, the brand hosted an event in India today to announce the launch of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro in more markets around the world. Everything suggests that he should face his already popular false twin, the OnePlus North, in the mid-range segment.
Like the Chinese model, this international version of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a 6.5-inch AMOLED and Full HD + screen enjoying a 90 Hz refresh rate for more fluidity. It will be noted in passing that the slab is curved at the edges and that it is pierced with a small hole in the upper left corner.
Strangely, it is a Snapdragon 720G which is carried by the smartphone, while its Chinese namesake benefits from more power with the Snapdragon 765G. The device is also equipped with 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of 128 GB.
The fast charge in Oppo sauce
As often, Oppo prides itself on its fast charge 65 W SuperVooc allowing you to go from 0 to 100% in just 36 minutes on this Reno 4 Pro. By the way, the latter is equipped with a 4000 mAh battery.
Unsurprisingly – it’s really the fashion of the moment – the Oppo Reno 4 Pro is entitled to a quadruple photo module on the back:
- 48 megapixel main sensor
- 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle
- sensor with 2 megapixel macro lens
- 2 megapixel monochrome sensor
For selfies, the front sensor has a definition of 32 megapixels.
Oppo Reno 4 Pro price and availability
The Oppo Reno 4 Pro will be released on August 5 in India at a price of 34,990 rupees, or around 395 euros excluding tax. The smartphone is then supposed to arrive in other markets around the world. In France, the brand has confirmed its upcoming arrival, but without giving further details.
