The series of concerts dedicated to some of the best international violinists continues at the Amici della Musica di Firenze. After Kolja Blacher and Özgür Aydin, tomorrow, Saturday, at 4 pm, at the Teatro della Pergola, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian (photo) – violinist and conductor – will perform in concert together with the 25-year-old pianist Maximilian Kromer. Together they will perform the Sonata n. 34 in A major, K. 526 by Mozart, the Sonata for violin and piano, FP 119 by Poulenc, Méditation, op. 42 n. 1 by Tchaikovsky and Sonata No. 2 in D minor op. 121, Schumann’s “Grosse Sonate”.
And on Sunday at 9 pm at the Saloncino della Pergola, it will be the turn of Leonidas Kavakos, a name that does not need great introductions, one of the greatest violinists in the world, whose solo performances include those with orchestras of the caliber of Wiener and Berliner Philharmonike . He will be in duo with the pianist Enrico Pace. On Sunday they will perform the Sonata n. 4 in A major Schubert’s D. 574, the Sonata n. 5 in F major op. 24, Beethoven’s “La Primavera” and, also in their case, the Sonata n. 2 in D minor op. 121 by Schumann. The concerts dedicated to the violin will therefore continue the following week, January 22, with the violinist Vadim Repin. Access to the theater only with Super Green Pass and FFP2 mask.
