Call addressed to former students and former students of the IEEA Oaxaca
Oaxaca de Juárez, Oax.- On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the National Institute for Adult Education (INEA); The State Institute of Adult Education (IEEA) of Oaxaca, issues the call: “Tell us, how education transformed your life”, which is aimed at former students and former students from Oaxaca, who wish to tell their derived success story of the educational impulse.
The call “Tell us, how education transformed your life” is an opportunity to make known successful people; who began, completed and finished their basic education with the IEEA Oaxaca educational system and who, with their dedication, commitment and sacrifice, have managed to meet school, work or professional goals and that their history is an inspiration for Oaxacans.
The general director of the IEEA Oaxaca, Miriam Pilar Liborio Hernández reported that the call is directed exclusively to former students and former students who studied at the State Institute; which should tell their success story through two pages and consult the bases at: https://www.oaxaca.gob.mx/ieea/cuentanos/ and register at the following address: http://126.96.36.199/contest/.
Liborio Hernández pointed out that the reception of the success stories began on Monday, August 2 and will conclude on Monday, August 16 of the same month and year; and of the stories received, three will be selected, which will be awarded. Miriam Pilar Liborio Hernández explained that this call is part of the activities for the 40th anniversary of the INEA that this August 31 marks 40 years of its creation, and pointed out that various activities are carried out at the national level; announced that Oaxaca, at the end of this month, will host one of these celebrations at the INEA; however, the provisions of the health sector will be followed.
The INEA is an educational body at the national level and through the IEEA Oaxaca proposes and develops educational models, conducts research on the subject, prepares and distributes didactic materials and evaluates, accredits and certifies basic education for adults and 15-year-olds who have not completed or completed their basic education.
The INEA was created by presidential decree published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on August 31, 1981 with the aim of reducing the educational gap in the country through basic education services: literacy, primary, secondary and life education and labor (MEVyT) and MEVyT Indígena Bilingüe (MIB); as well as the MEVyT 10-14 model (For girls and boys between 10 and 14 years of age who could not or for some reason cannot join the primary school system.
