Xiaomi POCO X2 with 8GB of RAM and Android 10 seen in Geekbench

Xiaomi Pocophone is circling the Internet once again, as a new list for POCO X2 has been seen on Geekbench. The successor of one of the most popular phones of 2018 has not yet been officially announced, however, the company meticulously keeps things secret.

Only a few days ago, Xiaomi submitted trademark applications in China for the POCO F2, indicating a possible announcement. That said, the Geekbench list refers to the successor as POCO X2, which runs on Android 10 with 8 GB of RAM. The name of the motherboard is indicated as “phoenixin”, which is a code word that we have found before.

Last year, it was revealed that the codename “phoenix” was for the Redmi K30 and taking this into account, it could be argued that the codename “phoenixin” could be the Indian variant of the Redmi K30.

Xiaomi can possibly go ahead and launch the Redmi K30 as POCO X2 in India. The Geekbench POCO X2 and Redmi K30 scores are disturbingly similar, which only gives weight to this argument.

We do not have a complete list of specifications or features on the alleged successor of the LITTLE F1 yet, however, here is a brief look at the Redmi K30.
