Audi has launched its first-line Q8 SUV in India at an initial price of Rs 1.33 million rupees ex-showroom Mumbai. The SUV comes in the 55 TFSI version with a 3.0-liter gasoline engine that produces 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque along with an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission that can drive the car from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.9 seconds. The SUV is also a soft hybrid with a 48V electric motor, which helps the car in the initial conditions of starting and traffic.
The SUV also comes with all-wheel steering that helps reduce turning radius and improve maneuverability in narrow regions. It is also equipped with Audi drive select and adaptive air suspension.
Customization plays an important role in the Q8 and Audi customers can customize their car according to their tastes and requirements, with 54 exterior colors offered. Speaking of the exterior, the Q8 is wrapped with continuous operation LEDs and dynamic indicators that surround the car. It also has an octagonal front grill that is a single-frame design, presented by Audi. Audi has also presented an air quality package with the Q8, which analyzes impure air quality. This will keep the cabin purified. The interior of the car is equipped with a 1920 watt Bang and Olufsen sound system with 23 speakers. It also has a 10.1-inch touch screen with Audi music interface on the back.
Audi also discussed its customer-centric strategy through a connected One application, which monitors driver behavior and the location of the car. The customer will receive full-time roadside assistance from Audi, which will help in case of emergency.
