NASA director Jim Brydenstein has announced plans to "go to the moon and stay there", the independent newspaper reported.

Brydenstein said the goal of the plans was to permanently send astronauts to the moon within the next decade and called for "the smartest and smartest American industry to help design and develop vehicles to land on the moon."

"What we mean by going back to the moon is not like NASA did 50 years ago, but to stay, using new technologies and systems to explore more locations on the moon," he said. "This time we will go to the moon … and we will stay there."

Brydenstein started setting up the scheme next week, which will initially invite employees in the private sector and everywhere to attend a meeting at the NASA headquarters to discuss ideas about spacecraft to land on the moon.

Up to now, NASA has contracted nine companies to send shipments to the moon, with the ultimate goal of developing spacecraft to transport astronauts from Earth to the moon and vice versa.

So the four-way space race for the moon, preceded by China, Russia and the European Union, was launched.

The head of ESA's Lunar Exploration Team, ESA, James Carpenter, has unveiled similar plans, noting that the increasing interest of the moon in recent times "goes beyond mere scientific goals & # 39 ;.

"There is a long-term motive or motivation of permanent human existence in space," Carpenter said. "If we want to live and work permanently and economically from the earth, we have to learn to use the resources there."

In its turn, the Chinese space agency hopes to lay the foundations for a base for moon research, including the construction of houses on the moon with the aid of three-dimensional printing, through the mission "Zhang E8".

"Exploring the unknown world is part of human nature and China is on its way to becoming a powerful space country," said Zhang I, the first architect of Zhang I's duties.

In December, Russia announced plans to send robots to the moon to carry out the main work of its project by setting up a base on the moon, starting with the launch of the planned Luna 25 in 2021, notes that the Lunar program will last until 2030.

"We planned to land on the moon in 2021," said Russian cosmonaut Russ Cosmos Dmitry Rogozin. "The drilling will start and collect monsters from the earth of the moon and bring them to earth for study."
