Taylor Swift, 35, caught the spotlight during the Super Bowl LIX when she reportedly received a chorus of boos when her face appeared on the big screen. Fans suspect they have decoded her cryptic three-word response to the aggressive heckling.

Swift’s appearance at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, came as she supported her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. She also came to cheer Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated halftime show, following their previous musical collaboration “Bad Blood.”

According to NFL reporter Ari Meirov, Swift appeared on screen alongside rapper Ice Spice, prompting aggressive boos from the audience.

“Taylor Swift got showed on the big screen and got booed aggressively,” Meirov said in a tweet. In response to the boos, Swift reportedly asked, “What’s going on?”

The outcry likely stemmed from Eagles fans hoping to catch a break from their recurring rival, the Kansas City Chiefs, who they had faced the previous season.

One fan commented on the clip, questioning, “Is she really so oblivious? The NFL fan base isn’t her fanbase. Why would people cheer for her?”

Another posted, “What exactly did she do to everyone?”

Meanwhile, Kelce had previously announced the attendance of another notable figure: former President Donald Trump. “That’s awesome, it’s a great honour,” Kelce said. “Having the president there, it’s the best country in the world.”

The Super Bowl also garnered attention for its diverse celebrity lineup. Musicians, actors, and even professional athletes were spotted at the event.

During the national anthem, some on social media speculated about the reaction to Trump’s entrance. One person wrote, “Y’all didn’t boo at Donald Trump loud enough.” Another commented, “That was pretty s**tty to show Trump during Jon Batiste singing the National Anthem, forced me and half of America to boo.”

Others were unsure if it was a cheer or a jeer, musing, “Did they cheer or boo Trump? Difficult to tell.” Another echoed, “Did they boo or cheer Trump at the #SuperBowlLIX?”
