He IMSS expanded its health care service with the inauguration of the Family Medicine Unit (UMF) 7 en Reynosa, than will benefit primary health care to some 60 thousand beneficiaries.
This clinic will provide consultations through 10 family medicine offices and 5 family medicine specialist nurse offices, With which it will be possible to carry out the timely detection of chronic degenerative diseases and their control.
In its facilities, UMF 7 has a pharmacy, general warehouse, powerhouse, diagnostic aids such as X-rays, interpretation, control and site area; an ultrasound cubicle and cold network.
Spaces were also enabled for the work performed by doctors, nurses, nutritionists, social workers and medical assistants, among other categories.
The inauguration took place within the framework of the visit to Reynosa of President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, where it was also attended by the managing Director of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), Zoé Robledo.
They were also the Governor of Tamaulipas, Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca; the representative of IMSS in the entity, Velia Patricia Silva Delfín; the Secretary of State Health, Gloria Molina Gamboa.
