Symphony orchestra on strike, concerts are off: “No more commissioning”

Two days of strike, Friday and Saturday, by the workers of the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra Foundation, not surprisingly scheduled to coincide with two concerts directed by the artistic director, Gianna Fratta. A decision that saw the unions Slc Cgil, Fistel Cisl, Uilcom Uil and Fials Cisal united, demanding the resignation not only of Fratta but also of commissioner Nicola Tarantino and superintendent Francesco Di Mauro.
