Social Impact Through Grassroots Programs

One of the standout features of the Jeddah E-Prix is the Formula E Better Futures Fund. This fund supports local initiatives in each race city, addressing social inequalities and environmental issues. For the 2025 Jeddah E-Prix, the Better Futures Fund will donate €25,000 to the First Autism Centre, an organization in Saudi Arabia that provides comprehensive services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The donation will establish a dedicated sensory room for the 100 children supported by the center, enhancing their care and educational experiences.

Similarly, Formula E’s FIA Girls on Track initiative will host up to 120 young women in Jeddah. The program includes career talks, a Pit Lane Walk, educational workshops, and panel discussions to empower girls and promote STEM education. Environmental Measures Powering the E-Prix

Formula E is committed to using renewable energy sources to power its events, minimizing the championship’s carbon footprint. The 2025 Jeddah E-Prix will be powered entirely by B100 biofuel, a renewable alternative to fossil fuels recognized by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). B100 biofuel can reduce carbon emissions by up to 60% compared to fossil diesel, underscoring Formula E’s ongoing efforts to decrease its environmental impact.

Additional Sustainability Initiatives

Other sustainability measures at the Jeddah E-Prix include an “Inspiration Hour,” where local community members and university students can engage with Formula E representatives. To further reduce freight-related carbon emissions, Formula E has optimized logistics and reduced air freight from three planes to two.
