In July and August, the arcade courtyard in the Linz Landhaus is transformed into an open-air concert hall. The Brucknerhaus has prepared nine atmospheric evenings for the popular “serenades”. The varied program ranges from classical to pop.
LINZ. “The splendid ambience and the atmospheric programs, which are perfectly tailored to mild summer nights, make our serenades an unforgettable experience,” says Brucknerhaus director Dietmar Kerschbaum. Every Tuesday at 8 p.m. in July and August, renowned artists provide great musical enjoyment.
Nine concerts in July and August
The nine concerts span a wide range from classical to folk and world music to swing, jazz and pop. The Eggner Trio will start on July 6th. The program of the successful Viennese piano trio includes works by Debussy, Dvořák and Schubert. The Salzburger Saitenklang brings works from Isaac Albéniz to Wilfried Scharf to the stage on July 27th. The Mühlviertel globetrotters trio “De Strawanza” will whisk you away to the era of swing, bossa nova and tango on July 13th. With audience favorites Monica Theiss-Eröd, Valentina Kutzarova and Adrian Eröd as well as the Calamus Consort, a well-staffed house music evening with special guests is on the program on August 31st.
