On World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10, we are addressing this taboo subject. According to the WHO, 800,000 people kill themselves each year and it is difficult to estimate the number of attempts.
Globally, suicide is even the second leading cause of death, among 15 to 29 year olds.
Suicide spares no region, no age group. How to prevent suicide? What management of suicidal attacks? Are the policies and resources devoted to its prevention sufficient?
