Transforming Riccione’s shopping District into a Symphony of sound
Riccione is set to harmonize commerce adn culture with Riccione Piano and strong,
an innovative project designed to invigorate teh city’s main shopping areas. This initiative, spearheaded by the Municipality of Riccione in partnership with the ‘G. Rossini’ State Conservatory of Music in Pesaro,aims to transform the Riccione Shopping District into a vibrant,open-air concert hall.
A Concert Series Across the City
Scheduled between May 10th and May 24th, the project will feature a series of 81 piano performances. Thes performances will take place during the evenings of May 10th, 16th, and 24th, from 7 PM to 10 PM, showcasing the talents of pianists and instructors from the Pesaro Conservatory.
Viale Ceccarini: The Opening Act
The musical journey begins in the heart of Riccione, on Viale Ceccarini. On May 10th, this central district will resonate with the sounds of seven pianos, hosting a total of 21 performances across its main streets and squares. This initial event promises to set a complex and engaging tone for the entire project.
Expanding the Melody: Ceccarini, Country District, and Beyond
The musical wave expands on May 16th, reaching both the Ceccarini area and the Country district. Ten pianos will be strategically placed, offering 30 performances that aim to draw shoppers and music lovers alike into a shared experience. this expansion demonstrates the project’s commitment to reaching a wider audience and diversifying the musical landscape.
Abyssinia, Dante, and Tasso: A Grand Finale
The grand finale on May 24th will see ten pianos positioned in the Abyssinia, Dante, and Tasso areas. With 30 performances planned, these commercial axes will be transformed into an open-air musical stage, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere for residents and visitors. This culmination of the project highlights the transformative power of music in urban spaces.
Showcasing Emerging Talent
The initiative provides a platform for numerous artists and young talents from the conservatory to showcase their skills. Each performance is expected to last approximately three hours, offering ample prospect for both performers and audiences to immerse themselves in the music. To ensure optimal sound quality and performance conditions, seven grand pianos will be used for the initial date, with ten pianos deployed for the subsequent events.
