The police arrested a man from Vezsen who went to the bath in a stolen car and bought breakfast and refueled with the money found in the car, police.hu reports. According to the owner of the car, on the morning of December 29, he left his car with the engine running in front of the house for a few moments, but when he returned, he only found the place where it had cooled. The owner’s car contained his personal documents, bank cards and money.
The owner suspected a local angry person, and the police identified the perpetrator based on camera footage. The 54-year-old man was found in a spa in Tiszakécske. He paid the entrance fee with HUF 100,000 found in the car, and even had breakfast and refueled before. Before going to the bathroom – according to him, to prevent the car from being stolen – he hid the key and removed license plate in Tiszakécské.
The man who was produced and interrogated as a suspect was taken into custody for the crime of two counts of theft and misuse of a unique identification code, and his arrest was initiated. The car was found and returned to its owner.
