Squid sandwich recipe, from Arnau and Jiaping




Jiaping and Arnau they worked together again at MasterChef. On this occasion, in a test dedicated to international tapas. But to make a national cover they opted for the classic calamari sandwich. Enjoy this recipe and the touch of mayonnaise with which they finish this preparation. Spanish gastronomic tradition!

  • Lima

  1. In an oven preheated to 250ºC and with steam function, we put the ciabatta bread dough for 40 minutes.

  2. We clean the squid and cut it into slices, flour it and fry over high heat.

  3. We roast the garlic with its skin for 30 minutes.

  4. We assemble a liquid mayonnaise with the peeled garlic, the sunflower oil, a touch of salt and the lime juice.
