During a solemn ceremony in Newport of America, the winner of the 2000 Olympic Games, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, was officially presented at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
Evgeny thanked all coaches who helped him during his career: Valery Shishkin, Anatoly Lepeshin, Larry Stefanki, as well as his parents.
"I know what it is and what it is like to be in the Hall of Fame, and I will bear this responsibility until the end of my life," quotes the official ATP website Kafelnikov.
Note that, along with the Russian, Chinese wife Na Li and Française Marie Pierce were introduced to the Gallery of Honor.
