The Arsenal development coach holds the SA field to teach the Gunners philosophy

Cape Town – Arsenal Football development coach Simon McManus says three days
Camp held in Cape Town for local coaches is designed to teach them the Gunners
philosophy.

McManus is in the mother city on behalf of SportPesa where
he and his staff are helping to guide local coaches that include similar ones
of the former Bafana Bafana recites Dr. Khumalo, David Nyathi and George
Dearnaley.

Talking about Soccer Laduma website, McManus said: "First day with
the Arsenal SportPesa clinic, (Monday) morning we covered a theoretical session
which gave the coaches an idea of how we perceive the role of a coach in
Arsenal.

"Then also discussed the different types of practices
we use and the benefits of isolated practices or integrated practices and therefore
focused on the holistic player we try to develop at the Arsenal.

"We feel we have a responsibility to develop the
wider person as well as the footballer, so we only went through the different
attributes we are trying to build within the players.

"This afternoon we show it to the coaches
practically, bringing them through three or four practices we use
Arsenal, again only by showing an integrated approach to more comprehensive development
Players.

"The coaches seem really busy so far, so it was
a good start. "
