The arrival of Latrell Mitchell south of Sydney could force young fullback Adam Doueihi to leave the club.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Souths coach Wayne Bennett told Doueihi to look for opportunities elsewhere, as it will be the second fullback of choice behind Mitchell.

The 21-year-old has two years to fulfill his agreement with the Rabbitoh and can earn $ 500,000 this season and more in 2021.

It is believed that Bennett is happy that Doueihi remains in Redfern, but gave him his blessing to sign with a rival.

Bennett originally told Doueihi that he would play five eighths, only for Cody Walker to re-sign, and then they gave him the reigns to the number 1 shirt, only for Mitchell to join the club.

The young weapon is a young man from Balmain, debuting with Michael Maguire at Wests Tigers in 2018.
