Hello and welcome to the Premier League news and gossip for the day! Here are the best stories of the day surrounding the Premier League!
Mark Noble talks about the Arnautovic saga
West Ham captain Mark Noble spoke about Marko Arnautovic's saga and how he influenced Londoners. Arnautovic was ready to go to China, but later signed a new agreement with the Hammers.
And now, Noble admits that the stories surrounding Austria have made waves in the team, but she is proud of how things have been since.
"He influenced us because of the results," he admitted.
"Only when you think about January when you think players are unstable, but I'm proud of the guys with the two performances we've just finished."
Noble then added that he does not blame Arnautovic for doing what he did as players have families to feed, but he also noticed that when a team has too many injuries, it becomes very difficult for the team to cope.
"I will never blame a player, I will not do it because they have families and you have to understand where they come from.
"But you have to have a big enough team to face it and with 11 injuries it's quite difficult".
Faitout Maouassa rejected Newcastle
Earlier in the January transfer window, Newcastle United was tied to a move for Faitout Maouassa. They were reports of a £ 7 million bid and now the player himself came forward to claim he had refused a move to St. James Park.
While he admitted that playing in the Premier League is a dream for him, he added that he did not believe it was the right time for such a move, as he still has room for improvement.
"I have to admit that, with Newcastle, it shocked me because everyone dreams of playing in the Premier League," he said.
"But I was not ready, I still have to grow up."
Manchester City inserts the repurchase clause in agreement with Schalke's star
The former Manchester City player Rabbi Matondo joined the German team Schalke permanently in the January transfer window for the initial expenses declared to be £ 9.6 million. It was the second time that many windows that Etihad's team had lost one of their best talent in the Bundesliga.
However, second Football Insider, Etihad's team has included a clause to buy back a mammoth £ 60 million for the player. It goes to show how much is estimated in England.
The word madness must have been made for reports like these as statements from Spain say that Manchester United has made a great offer for Luis Suarez. Apparently the Red Devils offered him a three-year deal, which would probably mean he would retire to Old Trafford when Suarez is 32 at the moment.
Juventus wants Mo Salah
Mohamed Salah being connected to Real Madrid and Barcelona is a common sight. However, as reported by Spain, there is a new club at home because Juventus has been attributed an interest in the Egyptian superstar.
The old lady is willing to let Dybala go to finance the deal. The report also adds that the Argentine is in talks with Inter. The agreement to bring the Egyptian could cost about 200 million euros and even Cristiano Ronaldo approves it.
Phil Jones responds to criticism
Manchester United defender Phil Jones has signed a new deal with the Red Devils that will hold him at the Theater of Dreams until 2023. This news was not warmly welcomed as United supporters were dismayed by the decision.
However, according to the player himself, he is not bothered by the criticism because he is very happy to have an extension with the Red Devils.
"I will have criticism in the future, I have had criticism in the past," said Jones.
"Honestly, I honestly do not care, I have a wonderful family and wonderful friends, I play football with Man United, I was given an extra contract and I am grateful for that."
