Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial added to the Manchester United injury list yesterday as they retired from the British and French teams respectively.
United was already using the international break to help a number of injured players, and now Shaw and Martial added to the concerns of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. Both players participated in the England Cup defeat against the Wolves, and will be evaluated in the next two weeks before the clash between the Premier League and Watford next Saturday.
Meanwhile, Victor Lindelof also retired from international service, but Swedish manager Janne Anderson confirmed that it was for personal reasons.
He said: "C & # 39; was a bit of speculation about why Victor submitted a request, but I went out and said that I have great respect and a great understanding of his decision: he is back for personal reasons".
