Manchester United are in talks with a Chinese club for the transfer of Marouane Fellaini, according to Sky Sports News.
The 31-year-old is at Old Trafford since he arrived from Everton in 2013 and was an important character during Jose Mourinho's reign.
Fellaini has been awarded during the summer with a new contract that is scheduled for 2020, with the possibility of a further year.
But Fellaini could now be in motion after falling by order of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, playing only 31 minutes since the Norwegian was installed as a provisional head of the United States.
According to Sky sources, a Chinese club is in talks with United for a permanent transfer.
Premier League clubs can not sign players after the September 23rd transfer deadline, but teams in China are able to complete contracts until February 28th.
Fellaini's Belgium international team-mate Mousa Dembele has left Tottenham to sign for the Chinese club of the Guangzhou R & D Super League at the start of this month.
