Luke Shaw of Manchester United leaves the English team while injuries go up

Luke Shaw left the English team for the upcoming Euro 2020 games with the Czech Republic and Montenegro, joining Gareth Southgate's growing list of wounded.

The Manchester United defender is the fourth player to leave the team, after John Stones, Fabian Delph and Ruben Loftus-Cheek retired due to injury.

James Ward-Prowse of Southampton and Callum Hudson-Odoi of Chelsea have been called as substitutes in midfield, but Shaw will not be replaced as Southgate still has the options of Ben Chilwell of Leicester and Danny Rose of Tottenham in the left-back.

Shaw experienced a difficult weekend when United was eliminated from the FA Cup by the Wolves, where he was easily defeated by Diogo Jota for the Wolves winner.
