This could have been a bit awkward for Olivia Holzmacher.
Joe Burrow’s girlfriend did not have to choose between his school and the winner of Heisman on Monday night, thanks to the defeat of the Ohio State college football tie against Clemson two weeks ago.
It seems that Holzmacher and Burrow have been linked since 2017, the last year of the quarterback in the state of Ohio before transferring to LSU. Holzmacher was a data analysis student at Big Ten, graduating last year.
Before the start of the game on Monday night, Holzmacher shared some inspiring words in his Instagram story, while LSU quarterback was preparing for the national championship game against Trevor Lawrence and the Clemson Tigers.
“Stay focused 9,” Holzmacher wrote.
“Oh yes, let’s do this,” he continued.
Later, Holzmacher posted clips inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, where Burrow led the Tigers to a 42-25 victory over Clemson. Burrow completed 31 of 49 attempts for 463 yards.
“This cannot be taken from us,” said Burrow. “This national championship will be remembered for a long time in the state of Louisiana.”
In December, he praised Burrow after his victory in the Heisman Trophy.
“I’m so proud of you! Best weekend ever!”, Published Holzmacher on Instagram.
