“He has earned it”: Aston Villa fans react to Jack Grealish’s Manchester United update

Aston Villa fans are in the dreamland after reports emerged that Jack Grealish is ready to reject any possible Manchester United transfer interest.

The Villa captain, 24, has been in good shape this period, achieving his seventh league goal of the season in Brighton on Saturday.

That form has led to several experts and fans linking Grealish with a transfer to Old Trafford.

According to reports, United chief Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is interested in the midfielder, with some suggestions that they have tested Villa’s resolution this month.

However, Daily Mirror has reported that Grealish is determined to keep his childhood club in the Premier League and will delay any conversation about his future until the summer.

It is also said that despite the interest, the head of Villa’s talisman has not turned and remains fully concentrated in the claret and the blue cause.

This is how Villa’s faithful in social networks reacted to Grealish’s decision:

Nigel Mwng: He is already a legend of Villa. I hope we stay awake and he stays. What could be better than captaining the club you love and helping them progress?

Michael Knott: I hope they put into contract that you cannot play against us. If he leaves, I think he needs to go to a better team than UDT, can you imagine Jack with Pep as his manager?

Nick Howlett: If we go down, he will go, but only because he needs to continue his career, he loves the club.

Oliver James: It is fair, it has been loyal for a long time, it will go in summer, at least we will get you a lot of money.

Clark Summer: He wouldn’t mind if he left since he earned it, just don’t go to the scum because they’re not going anywhere quickly

Nick Howlett @ If we go down, he will go, but only because he needs to continue his career, he loves the club.

Miracle Leaana: If Jack really bleeds claret and blue? No amount of money would ever leave! Acts !! But hey, isn’t that what football is all about today?

Les Hunt: Jack is too good for utd, Liverpool or city man clubs in the UK that I think would interest him. I probably go to one of those two in the summer. Good luck to the boy if he leaves.
