Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has written to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola about his comments about the Champions League title.
Salah won the Champions League last season after losing the Premier League title to Guardiola and his team.
"I don't know if he said it or not, but I think if you let him choose, he'll choose the Champions League," Guardiola said.
"This is my opinion, I'm not talking about Guardiola, but my opinion, the Champions League is the biggest club championship in the world, so everyone wants to win it," he told CNN.
"Every coach, every player wants to win, dreams of winning. Of course, the English league is a big thing, but the Champions League is still the biggest tournament."
Guardiola, who twice won the Champions League as a coach at Barcelona, has not won the title since 2011.
"Frankly, it was great, it's a dream for everyone in Liverpool and the players, winning the Champions League is something very big and very big," Salah said about the success of his team in the Champions League.
"Everyone had that special moment. I felt like a child whose dream was realized," said the opening goal in the Champions League final.
